3D-PRINTED PROSTHETICS

Made custom to each dog, these full limb prosthetics and accessories were designed to make these life saving devices far more accessible and effective. With conventional hand fabrication processes, devices like this could take up to 15 hours of labor to make, and were extremely expensive. But, with 3D printing, they only take 2 hours of labor, are more durable, lighter, and ultimately have a higher success rate.

Before 3D printing, prosthetics clinics simply couldn’t make the margins work. Now, the product is scalable and accessible to so many more.

3D SCANNING

We start by 3D scanning a patient's mold. The mold is refined digitally to smooth out any imperfections

CUSTOM ALGORITHM

We import the scanned mold into a custom AI tool that automatically generates the prosthetic, its thicknesses, mounting points, pattern, and more

3D PRINTING

The 3D file is then sent to our print lab where it gets printed out of a flexible material.

THE RESULT

After some practice, they are up and running!
